About the Summit
The Global Summit of the Global Wine Tourism Organization (GWTO) is one of the leading international gatherings dedicated to wine and food tourism. Bringing together public institutions, industry leaders, academics and entrepreneurs, the Summit serves as a global platform to share knowledge, showcase best practices and foster collaboration across destinations.
Held annually in different wine regions around the world, recent editions have taken place in destinations such as Uruguay and China, reinforcing the Summit’s truly international scope and its role in positioning host regions on the global enotourism map.
The event is organized by the Global Wine Tourism Organization, an international network that connects stakeholders from tourism, wine and gastronomy sectors, with the mission of promoting sustainable development, innovation and education in wine tourism.
